Wrinkles Dry Skin Problems on Face: Anti-Aging Facial Skin Rejuvenation

It is a fact of life that from about the age of 40 we can start to develop dry skin. We are not referring here to any specific skin disorder such as dermatitis, but to a general loss of elasticity and resilience and very commonly dry skin on the face and wrinkles also. It is sometimes believed that this is due to dehydration, but in reality, healthy skin is dependent on a continuous supply of many nutrients and hormones, and this supply slows down considerably as we age. The result is that the surface layer of skin begins to separate from the underlying fat creating dry skin.

Ayurveda explains this as being caused by a deletion of Kapha – the healthy mucus which acts as a cushion. Older people are much less able to withstand knocks and scrapes without skin bruising and cracking. To address this problem effectively we must first clear the blocked channels that carry the supply of mucus and this involves treating the whole system from within, with particular attention to the gut lining providing anti-aging treatment and rejuvenation.

This is the purpose of the YATAN Facial Rejuvenation Program. While we cannot prevent aging we can slow it down quite dramatically. This program, which is highly individualized, first sets out to detoxify the body systems which are interfering with normal function and then to rejuvenate all of the cells and tissues. There are many Ayurvedic herbal medicines that help the body to produce good mucus and others that enhance the production of hormones. The program also addresses dietary and lifestyle factors and offers a range of treatments that are of great benefit in skin rejuvenation.
