Rejuvenation for Men

Warning Signs All Men Should Know

Are you feeling more and more fatigued as you get older? Do you require extra mental effort just to remember something or focus on a simple task? Is your sexual drive substantially decreasing? It’s not only women who go through a change after the age of 40. Men also experience a physical, mental and emotional decline as they hit their middle years, and particularly over the age of 50.

While such symptoms may simply be an indication of increasing age, and are therefore completely normal, others may actually be warning signs of more serious problems. Erectile dysfunction, for example, may be completely benign and due to hormonal decline, but it may also be an indicator of heart disease, high cholesterol or diabetes.

Thankfully, holistic medicine such as Ayurveda can greatly help alleviate age and lifestyle disease related symptoms, rejuvenating at a cellular level, giving your hormones and overall system a boost, and literally energise you inside-out, even in your senior years. A holistic rejuvenation program in particular can catch any lifestyle related disease or dysfunction early and effectively treat it, to ensure you age as healthily as possible.

But what exactly is rejuvenation and why is it so important for men? And what are the warning signs that may indicate the need for rejuvenation?

Warning Signs All Ageing Men Should Know

Ageing may be to blame for the body and its functions slowing down, but the symptoms associated with it may be trying to catch your attention in an attempt to warn you of a deeper, more concerning problem.

If you are a man over the age of 40, you should not ignore any of the following warning signs:

  • Sluggishness, fatigue and/or physical exhaustion, especially when not particularly active or after performing the slightest tasks
  • Loss of sexual drive and/or sexual desire
  • Erectile dysfunction and related problems
  • Recurrent urinary tract infections (constant urge to urinate, blood in urine, jock itch, etc)
  • Digestive problems (indigestion, IBS, constipation, abdominal pain, etc)
  • Sudden weight loss or weight gain
  • Belly fat
    and constant bloating
  • Anxiety, depression, stress and/or lack of motivation
  • Mental difficulties particularly when having to focus, memorise or calculate
  • Impaired vision (short or long-sightedness, blurry vision, etc)
  • Dry skin with or without wrinkles
  • Ear and hearing problems
  • Chronic headaches and/or migraines
  • Brain fog and mental blurriness
  • Low or high blood pressure (the latter may be the result of medication)
  • High cholesterol with our without obesity
  • Respiratory problems (shortness of breath, asthma, chronic cough, etc)
  • Joint pain with or without mobility problems
  • Muscle pain and/or tenderness
  • Lower back pain
  • Heart-related problems
  • Gum problems (Gingivitis, bleeding, tenderness, etc)
  • Teeth problems (yellowing, cavities, pain, etc)
  • Snoring which progressively gets worse with age or leads to sleep apnea
  • Sinusitis and/or sinus problems
  • Hair loss, greying and/or thinning
  • Sagging skin

Addressing these symptoms early on and holistically is the most effective way to reduce the likelihood of disease and live a happy and healthy life as you age, without having to resort to chronic medication use or end up in a nursing home when it’s all too late.

Some of the aforementioned symptoms may or may not be related to disease, but you must still make the effort to find out and prevent a full-blown disease from occurring. Ayurvedic Rejuvenation can help you do just that.

Rejuvenation for Men Explained

Rejuvenation is the process of making someone look and feel better, younger, more vital and energised. Rejuvenation produces feelings of vitality, livelihood, and overall well being inside-out. It is a necessary step to achieving wellness and optimal health with age, particularly if you are already suffering from a chronic condition that requires attention.

In Ayurveda, rejuvenation is a necessary experience and is recommended throughout an individual’s lifetime when imbalances occur, particularly over the age of 40. Our program aims to rejuvenate your entire body by firstly implementing natural detoxifying methods using Ayurvedic medicines, specific diet and yoga techniques, then tonifying the entire body and its systems. Raman Das will first address the more problematic areas based on the symptoms presented, and will them move on to the whole body system.

Focus is placed on hormone restoration and rejuvenation:

  • Brain hormone rejuvenation. This would include customised Ayurvedic herbal decoctions that would stimulate the system to begin producing its own neuro-hormones.
  • Body system (skeletal) rejuvenation. This next step would aim to strengthen the body and skeletal system by introducing minerals into the body (particularly calcium) through custom-made formulations.
  • Digestive system rejuvenation. In this step, enzymes are introduced to the body to aid digestion, detoxify the liver, and restore organ functions.

Depending on your condition and constitution (Dosha), more steps may follow or precede the treatment plan, especially if you are dealing with one or more chronic conditions.

At our YATAN Holistic Ayurvedic Centre, we have recently developed a customised, all-natural and drug-free rejuvenation program known as the YATAN Rejuvenation Program, targeted predominantly towards individuals over the age of 40. While we do apply the principles and methods of Ayurvedic rejuvenation, we offer a unique YATAN-style treatment plan.

In Ayurveda, a rejuvenation experience is commonly known as Panchakarma. We have been tailoring such experiences at our clinic for two decades, however our new and improved YATAN Rejuvenation Program includes more than just Ayurveda, and uses processes that do not require Panchakarma, making this program easier to fit into a modern, busy lifestyle.

Why is the YATAN Rejuvenation Program Different?

The YATAN Rejuvenation Program is unique in that it offers more than just an Ayurvedic treatment. As the initials state (Y.A.T.A.N), our programs offer:

  • Yoga
, which enables the effective distribution and absorption of nutrients within the body through poses (asanas) and breathing techniques (pranayama),
  • Ayurveda in the form of medicine (herbal decoctions), which assists with optimal organ function and hormone production,
  • Tantra, a practise which can greatly assist with relieving emotional blockages and imbalances,
  • Astrology, for a better understanding of one’s health and life circumstances, and
  • Nature, wherein healing is derived from the earth, plants and foods.

Our Rejuvenation Program will not let age and disease get the best of you. We will start by addressing any chronic disease or dysfunction, then work towards healing your entire body, mind and spirit. This 1-year program is designed to:

  • Boost your natural body rhythms
  • Reduce free radicals in the body
  • Reverse cellular damage
  • Detoxify and tonify the organs

At the end of the program, you can expect a rewarding, refreshing and energy-boosting experience with results that will last for years to come. You will not only be free of problematic symptoms, pains, concerns and chronic disease, but you will also feel happier, more energetic, motivated and positively-minded. You will literally feel younger within the first few sessions!
