Menopause Hot Flushes Weight Gain Treatment Diet Plan

Women are generally very sensitive to changes taking place in their own bodies, and when menopause starts to arrive they are often aware that something is not quite right, without knowing quite what.

Menopause Symptoms

Small initial changes, such as an increase or a reduction in bleeding, are not too difficult to tolerate but these are often followed by emotional swings and behavioural changes which impact not only on the woman herself but also on family, friends, work colleagues and anyone else with whom she comes into contact. Physiological changes in the body and the reactions of society in general to her emotional state are frequently not understood, and this can cause stress such as the woman may never have experienced before.

Thought patterns change, and many wrong decisions can be made. The woman may start to feel embarrassment in all types of social situations, particularly if for example she suffers menopausal hot flushes in a work meeting or at a dinner party. Her sex life will almost certainly be affected. Many bodily symptoms may follow – the skin texture may start to change, for example the skin of the face might tighten, making it difficult to smile or laugh and menopause weight gain is also common. The body may feel heavy and congested.

These are just a few of the discomforts suffered by women at this time of life. Clearly menopausal symptoms vary so much between individuals that every case has to be treated on an individual basis. When you seek help from us, our first concern is to find out how your life is being affected. Our priority at this stage is to enable you to fit back in comfortably with family, colleagues, and the world. You will walk out of our consultation with the tools that equip you to do this.

Menopause Diet and Menopause Treatment

Natural menopause treatment can be a long process, so a long-term menopause treatment plan must be drawn up. Having taken care of family and social factors first, we can work with you to treat not only your immediate health issues, but also to pre-empt other problems further down the line of which you may not yet be aware. At the Yatan Holistic Health Healing Ayurvedic Centre we have a comprehensive range of treatments and following your initial assessment we will be able to recommend those which are most appropriate to your own needs. We will also provide you with any custom-made medicines that might be helpful and menopause diet advice – certain foods, for example, cause bloating or insomnia. We can also introduce you to gentle breathing exercises (Pranayama) which will help to calm you down.

What next?

If any of this rings a bell with you it is time to book a consultation, so that we waste no time in drawing up your personalised Ayurvedic menopause treatment plan. Before long you will start to look better on the outside, as well as feeling better inside.
