Shatavari Face & Body Oil 100ml

A silky Ayurvedic face & body oil infused with Shatavari to nourish, moisturise, tone and revive radiance in maturing skin.

$37.95

Description

Shatavari (Wild Asparagus Root) is a revered rasāyana (rejuvenation) herb whose sweet, unctuous and nourishing qualities replenish dryness and support tissue renewal.

Our Shatavari‑infused black sesame oil helps balance Vata (dryness, roughness) and calm Pitta (heat, sensitivity), leaving the skin comfortably lubricated and resilient.  Well-nourished tissue naturally looks firmer and more elastic.

Dosha guide:

Vata: ★★★ Excellent for daily replenishment and softening crepey skin texture

Pitta: ★★★ Cooling and calming for flush‑prone, sensitive skin

For crepey arms, legs, neck & décolletage
On slightly damp skin after showering apply a more generous amount and massage well.  Oil can also be warmed before use.

❓Frequently Asked Questions

Is Shatavari Face & Body Oil suitable for menopausal dry skin on the face and body?

Yes. This Shatavari-infused Ayurvedic oil is formulated to replenish moisture, nourish and soften the appearance of crepey skin on the face, neck, arms, and legs.

Can I use it as a night face oil instead of or under a cream?

Absolutely. Layer 3–5 drops over your hydrating serum or mist. If very dry, seal with a small amount of your night cream.

Will it clog pores?

It’s a plant oil blend designed for comfort and slip. Most dry and mature skins tolerate it well. If your skin is very congestion-prone, begin with 2–3 drops on damp skin and adjust as needed.

Can it help with skin tightening?

Shatavari Oil can improve the feel of elasticity and smoothness by restoring lubrication. This may soften the appearance of laxity and fine lines with consistent massage and hydration.  Ayurvedically, Shatavari’s rasāyana, Vata-pacifying qualities, help tissues feel steadier and more resilient, supporting a smoother, more toned appearance with regular abhyanga.

Is it fragranced?

It has a naturally derived, lightly herbal scent (no synthetic fragrance). If you are highly sensitive to aromas, perform a patch test first.

Is it safe in pregnancy or if I have hormone‑sensitive conditions?

Topical use of Shatavari oil is generally well tolerated. If you’re pregnant, breastfeeding, or have a hormone‑sensitive condition, consult your Ayurvedic health professional and patch test before first use.

Which doshas does it balance?

Primarily Vata (dryness, roughness) and Pitta (heat, redness). Kapha types may prefer occasional use or lighter quantities.

Can I use it for face massage?

Yes — it’s a lovely massage oil for face, and pairs well with gentle lymphatic strokes, a roller, or gua sha for a glow finish.
