Approximately 4 years ago I was diagnosed with 1 large nodule in the left portion of my thyroid gland; it was approximately 2cm. 2 years later it had grown to over 4cm, which increased to 6.2cm. My doctor insisted he wanted the left part of my thyroid gland removed, however, I wanted to try alternative methods of treatment.
