Jala Neti (nasal cleansing using warm salty water) is a traditional part of the Yoga system and also the daily routine prescribed by Ayurveda. This practice has been used for thousands of years for its physical benefits, which also enables deeper, more effective spiritual practice.

Why is Stainless Steel best?

The Yatan Neti Pot is made from quality 18/8 stainless steel.   There are a number of advantages to stainless steel, as compared to ceramic or copper neti pots, the main ones being:

• They are easy to keep clean - copper constantly tarnishes which becomes difficult to clean inside the pot
• Virtually unbreakable - ceramic can be heavy and you need to be careful in the bathroom with it!

• holds around 400ml of water - large enough to rinse both nostrils without refilling
• comfortable to hold, either at the base or around the rim of the pot
• the spout is a unique design -  and has been shaped to seal the nostril, avoiding backflow of water from the nostril you are rinsing
• correctly angled spout to avoid spillage from the top of the pot
