Raman Das has been practicing vedic face reading for 28 years. During this one day workshop you will learn the basics of face reading with Raman Das in a fun, informative and practical way.  Group practice and individual readings will occur throughout the workshop.

Beat Menopause!

Are you a woman over 40?

Concerned about your menopause symptoms?

Do you...

  • Want to understand why you are experiencing these symptoms?
  • Want to learn some easy techniques that you can use at home for rapid relief?

Yes?

Then come to the Beat Menopause Seminar, led by Raman Das Mahatyagi a leading health practitioner in his field.

What will I learn during the seminar?

  • The physiological and mental changes that your body is going through and why
  • How Ayurvedic medicine can not only target your symptoms but also enhance your general state of being
  • How to loose weight and regain your flat stomach
  • How to increase your memory power and enhance your radiance
  • Diet and lifestyle advice to reduce symptoms
  • Easy to use techniques for instant relief of common symptoms such as hot flushes
  • Take-home “Tips Sheet” of a specially compiled exercise and breathing program to assist in symptom relief

Ayurvedic principles are based on treating not only one symptom but the entire person.

During menopause it is essential to balance your hormones - without doing this, new symptoms will keep surfacing after each one is dealt with. This means that if, for example, you suffer from hot flushes and you treat only this you will feel some relief but then another symptom will arise. This will continue throughout the course of menopause potentially making it a difficult and emotional time for you (and your family).

Why not bring your partner along too?

Educating your partner in the experiences you are having will promote better understanding and therefore increased levels of harmony in your relationship.

I started taking your menopause preparation at the end of January. For the first week I took it every day as well as my Premia.  I continued this way for two weeks.  On the third week, I took your preparation and the Premia every second day.  On the fourth week I took the Premia every third day and your preparation every day.  I was always worried that the symptoms of menopause would return e.g. hot flushes, night sweats, irritability, headaches and a general feeling of not being myself, out of sorts, unhappy in general.  I am pleased to tell you that I have none of these feelings as I haven't taken the Premia since the end of February and have continued on your herbal preparation daily since the beginning of my visit to you. The headaches have disappeared, I have no hot flushes, no night sweats, my general inner feeling is one of calmness not of irritability, I feel happy again and relaxed, and I owe all of my general wellbeing to you and your magic powders.  I must confess I was getting very concerned about myself and how I was feeling. Some days I felt so low and depressed over really nothing - but it seemed so out of my control and I would fly off the handle at nothing.  You are a saviour!!!

Ayurvedic Cooking for Everyday Life

Presenter: Raman Das Mahatyagi

Ayurvedic Practitioner (B.Sc, Dip.Yoga, Ayurveda-Ratna)

In this Ayurvedic cooking workshop you will learn how to cook fast yet tasty and nutritious food for all the meals of the day. The Ayurvedic principles, including the vegetarian cooking method, will be applied to Australian meals making the recipes practical to use in everyday life. Different constitutions, doshas, require different foods so recipes for each dosha will be taught. Along with this, guidance will be given on how to cook for a family where everybody has a different constitution.

This workshop is suitable for all those who are interested in health through cooking. It will provide practical insight into cooking to acquire and maintain good health using the Ayurvedic methods of food preparation and combining to create balance in our meals. It will explain how we gain contentment and satisfaction from the food we eat due to our five senses being stimulated by it. Only by using these senses are we able to gain optimum health and nutrition from the food. The sense organs are able to asses the value of the food through the stimulation of neurotransmitters, digestive enzymes and the endocrine system.

Although in Australia most of us have a busy lifestyle and are unable to spend hours cooking, eating in restaurants and having “take-away” is not suitable for maintaining long term health. To address this problem Raman Das has developed a technique for preparing everyday meals in a short space of time requiring minimum washing up and time spent in the kitchen. Each meal incorporates a variety of ingredients so that your body will receive all the proper nutrients, healing qualities and desired post digestive effect whilst you enjoy its delicious taste.

Kundalini is the occult power of the human body.  Everybody has Kundalini power, but it is mostly in a dormant or sleeping condition in most individuals.  When kundalini is in a sleeping condition our energy flows downwards, and in that condition we have negative attitudes, frustrations, disappointment, distress, confusion, no self awareness.  When kundalini is awakened or in an active condition people are very positive, have awareness, are self motivated, inspired, have power to understand conscious and unconscious mind.

Enlightened, self contented, clairvoyance, a trance state of mind can all result from an active kundalini.   Over thousands of years many practical methods have been developed in India to awaken this mysterious power called kundalini, which people can practice in their everyday lives.

Tantra - Pathways and Techniques to Channel Energy

Presenter: Raman Das Mahatyagi

Ayurvedic Practitioner (B.Sc, Dip.Yoga, Ayurveda-Ratna)

Tantra is a Vedic path for transformation of one's own individual energy. Vedic seers realised that in the human being a vast amount of energy is produced by our cells which flow in different directions.  If this energy flows in a rhythmic way or in the proper channels then we can feel happy and healthy, with clarity of mind to enjoy all aspects of our life.  If this energy flow is non rhythmic or has a diffused flow, then various physical mental, emotional sickness start to arise.

So how to balance this energy, how to channel it according to our requirements - this is the basic principle of Tantra.    The vast amount of energy produced during sexual interaction pulsates the cells, endocrine system and neurons in our body.  This is the reason Tantra has stressed to improve sexual health in order to improve our overall health - and sex can be easily understood and realised by an individual, so it is easy to practice also.   Sex energy is related to our endocrine system, so it balances the memory, enhanced and healthier sex life, which gives satisfaction and peace of mind, and this then leads to the state of superconsciousness.

This workshop will provide information about how to balance and channel our energy to uplift our consciousness with the help of Tantric teachings.

Practical Ayurvedic Massage

Presenter: Raman Das Mahatyagi

Ayurvedic Practitioner (B.Sc, Dip.Yoga, Ayurveda-Ratna)

In Australia the climatic conditions and intense sun aggravate the vata element in most people. Methods of Ayurvedic Rejuvenation

Presenter: Raman Das Mahatyagi

Ayurvedic Practitioner (B.Sc, Dip.Yoga, Ayurveda-Ratna)

As we become older our endocrine system begins to slow down, which in turn affects our whole cellular structure which starts to deplete. The aim of this workshop is to provide information about Ayurvedic rejuvenation methods which will delay the onset of the aging process and help the transitions of life to be smooth.

The profounders of Ayurveda were well acquainted with the decaying and depletion of cells and the affects which the hormone system has on our body and how it can be responsible for many health problems. They realized that through the use of Ayurvedic herbs, diet and kalpa the hormone system could be balanced, therefore making the aging process less traumatic physically and emotionally. The aging process is a universal truth and inevitable, however if we use the correct techniques we can delay its onset. It was advised that the rejuvenation process should be started when a person reaches 40 years as this is when the body’s metabolic function begins to slow down. From 30 years the body will start to decline but the difference is very subtle, after 40 years the change is more noticeable. During the period between 40 to 60 years the body’s system reaches a plateau and then from 60 years the aging process increases again.

What you will learn:

Ayurveda approaches rejuvenation in many ways:

  • Rejuvenation through herbs and minerals - taking herbs e.g. Ashwaganda, Shatavari asparagus, Triphala, Amalaki, Shilajeet etc. which help to alleviate the symptoms of aging
  • Rejuvenation through daily routine and yoga practice - starting a daily routine including yoga and pranayama to help the body and mind to be in its optimum state
  • Rejuvenation through Kalpa – a course of food e.g. milk or meat, herbal mineral preparations which are taken for a certain period of time and is set according to the individuals constitution. If these are prepared according to Ayurvedic principles they will both be very beneficial to the body during the rejuvenation process

To ease the process of rejuvenation Ayurveda recommends:

  • Drinking water
  • Eating plenty of fruit of vegetables
  • Walking barefoot on the grass in the early morning
  • Going to bed early and waking up early
