As we become older our endocrine system
begins to slow down, which in turn affects our whole
cellular structure which starts to deplete. The aim of this
workshop is to provide information about Ayurvedic
rejuvenation methods which will delay the onset of the aging
process and help the transitions of life to be smooth.
The profounders of Ayurveda were well
acquainted with the decaying and depletion of cells and the
affects which the hormone system has on our body and how it
can be responsible for many health problems. They realized
that through the use of Ayurvedic herbs, diet and kalpa the
hormone system could be balanced, therefore making the aging
process less traumatic physically and emotionally. The aging
process is a universal truth and inevitable, however if we
use the correct techniques we can delay its onset. It was
advised that the rejuvenation process should be started when
a person reaches 40 years as this is when the body’s
metabolic function begins to slow down. From 30 years the
body will start to decline but the difference is very
subtle, after 40 years the change is more noticeable. During
the period between 40 to 60 years the body’s system reaches
a plateau and then from 60 years the aging process increases
again.
